Bina and I had our 35th wedding anniversary coming up in October 2022. By July, the thought occurred to us: why not do a “bucket list” trip? Since some friends had recently done a safari in Tanzania, we quickly settled upon that as the best plan. Months of work ensued as we rushed to figure out the exact locations to be explored, the company to be used and even the best guide for our purposes. On September 28, we were flying off to Lisbon and then Kilimanjaro to begin our great adventure.
